Astral Tequila is totally unique and reminiscent of the way tequila was made 150 years ago before it was industrialized. We hope you enjoy our celebration of this beautiful culture and spirit. Astral is made from agave grown at high-altitude on a single organic estate in the mountains. The agave are harvested and roasted in a traditional stone oven. Native yeast fermentation takes 8x as long as conventional fermentation. We ferment with all of the bagazo (solids) to better highlight what the agave plant has to share. After fermentation Astral is pot distilled two times to reach 92 proof.
