Only sparkling wine made in the Champagne region of France, using the traditional method with a second fermentation in the bottle, can be called Champagne.
What does Brut mean on Champagne?
Brut describes a dry style with very little residual sugar. From driest to sweetest, the common styles are Brut Nature, Extra Brut, Brut, Extra Dry, Dry and Demi-Sec.
How should I store and chill Champagne?
Store bottles somewhere cool and dark. Chill to about 45-50°F before serving; an ice bucket with water and ice takes around 20-30 minutes.
