This is a contemporary adaptation of the classic Jungle Bird cocktail created in 1978 at The Aviary Bar at the Hilton Hotel in Kuala Lumpur. We pay homage to the PISKU BIRD. Pisku is the Quechua word for bird. And it was interpreted by the Spanish conquistadors as PISCO. Pisco defines the geographical region that has become the Designation of Origin of the original and unique Peruvian Spirit - PISCO, produced in this area for over 450 years.
Ingredients
1.5 oz. BarSol Pisco Puro Italia
0.5 oz. Luxardo Bitter Rosso
0.5 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
2.0 oz. Pineapple Juice
0.5 oz. Passion Fruit syrup
Directions
In a shaker with ice, add all ingredients Pisco, Bitter Rosso, lime juice, pineapple juice, passion fruit syrup. Shake very well and strain into a crushed ice filled rocks glass. Garnish with mint and pineapple leaves.
