Backbone Bourbon The Forge Blended Bourbon

The Forge is our most ambitious project yet. It's a combination of 3 different whiskies aged between 5 and 14 years old, and bottled at a high proof. Straight bourbon makes up a majority of the blend where we have selected some of our best barrels between 5 and 7 years old. This blend also includes some older Straight Rye (8 yrs+) and some Light Whiskey (14 yrs+). The Forge is a rich and decadent blend that is sure to be a crowd pleaser. We believe The Forge represents some our best blending work yet.

Backbone “The Forge” is blended bourbon where at least 51% or more of the blend is Straight Bourbon. We spent several months coming up with the blend. Our starting point was simple – how could we use our older barrels of whiskey to create something that was outstanding and stood apart from other high-end American whiskeys. The bulk of the blend is some of our best Straight Bourbon barrels between 5 & 7 years old. We also included some older Straight Rye and some wonderful barrels of Light Whiskey that were barreled in 2006. The right combination of these mature whiskeys including a stout proof of 110 allowed us to create a rich and decadent blend. “The Forge” is our second blended bourbon. The first was Backbone “Prime” launched in 2015 using younger and more vibrant whiskeys. “The Forge” is a premium product and definitely some of our best work. “The Forge” was an opportunity to show our blending skills and to provide an innovative product from a simply delicious combination of older whiskeys. Age Verification Required

All alcohol shipments require an adult signature (21+) at the time of delivery. Please ensure someone 21 or older is available to sign for your package. Valid government-issued photo ID will be required.

Shipping Restrictions

We can only ship to states where it is legal to ship alcohol. Some states have restrictions on the types or quantities of alcohol that can be shipped. We will notify you if we cannot ship to your location.

Tracking Information

Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information so you can monitor your delivery.

Damaged or Lost Shipments

If your order arrives damaged or goes missing in transit, please contact us within 48 hours of the expected delivery date. We will work with the carrier to resolve the issue and ensure you receive your order.
