Two James is located in Corktown, Detroit’s oldest neighborhood, and is the first licensed distillery in Detroit since Prohibition. 28 Island Vodka is carefully crafted from a blend of 70% corn and 30% organic winter wheat and distilled with the finest American-made copper pot still. The result is a remarkably smooth, balanced spirit with a hint of sweetness that makes an excellent addition to both classic and modern cocktails. The name references the 28 islands of the Detroit River that served as safe haven for Detroit’s clandestine distillers of the prohibition era.
